A friend of mine got with a guy who is 6 years older than she is.Shes underage and im sure shes with him cus hes older and only for his looks. i get a bad vibe from him and i dont trust him and im scared that he will hurt her. what do i tell her?

Well, if shes not legal yet. ‘Above 18 in most states.’ You may want to point that out. But thats pretty stupid to be with a guy whos 6 years older than you if your not mature enough for the relationship. You have every right to be scared. Sit her down without the boy around, no cellphones either, so its truthfully on you and her. And tell her, your scared that hes going to hurt her. But make it clear its not because your want the relationship over, its because your worried about your best friend. And she’ll at least listen. I can’t tell how she will react because I don’t fully know her, but most people react to that very well. And if they don’t they’ll thank you for trying to help them later.

I doubt he will forget you if he loves you. I understand how hard breakups can be sometimes. Its normal to feel horrific about break ups. Giving him some time is a good idea I know its hard too because the fact your scared it might indeed make him feel suffocated, but it will work out I’m sure. So I have liked this guy for six years almost. We were together for 7 months and he broke up with me saying he is confused but still is in love with me and will always be. Though he just stop talking to me but cries when he sees me. whats going on?

Well, it is possible that he does in fact love you. But if he says that he no longer wants to be with you, then there is somehow a problem with the two of you. I’m guessing somewhere along the line he thought he was making you unhappy, or his friends may have influenced him. But just tell him that if he loves you, then whats wrong with being together? The whole crying when seeing you but not talking to you brings me back to the friends thing, unless he really does love you and regrets it. If hes JUST confused about it, he may literally be confused about it. Ask him whats wrong if he’ll talk to you, and if he doesn’t want to talk to you give him some space. If he loves you he will indeed come back.

I suggest talking to him one on one. It would most likely show him how serious you are and that you mean whats coming from your mouth, text messages for serious things always got me. But tomorrow would be a better choice I believe.

Well, I hope your prepared for parent ship, and its going to be hard if you are, but stick with it. Your mother needs to know. She will most likely still love you like she does now. I just hope you work up the gut to tell her, shes mostly going to be the one helping you.

I’m kind of underweight, and kids pick on me for it, calling me anorexic and what not. It hurts me. Idk what to do.

Well, don’t listen to what they say. They obviously don’t know what or how serious anorexia is. It is a VERY serious condition. But I know trying to ignore it won’t work, and telling an adult would just make it worse on you. So my advice is, know your beautiful and you were born to live a life, so you should live it, regardless of what immature people say.

I was a drug addict and I turned to the wrong crowd. I was beat and thrown out and away from my family. I wanted to die many MANY times throughout my life. And it still crosses my mind. My life seems horrible. Any hope?

Well there’s always hope no matter what. Don’t ever give up on yourself. And death isn’t the answer to anything. I know people who have been drug addicts, all sorts of addicts and pulled themselves out of the dirt. So don’t get discouraged. When the thought comes into your mind, know its not worth it to die. And people love you.

I’ve liked this guy in my class for about a year now, but hes in a totally different social group than I, and I don’t know how to tell him I like him. Help?

Well, social groups shouldn’t have an affect on people, but they do. I suggest, if hes shown any signs of liking you that you get him alone. And tell him you like him. No one around, because when people are around it exerts pressure on the person whom is being asked the question. Think of it as asking him to publicly speak. Its that hard to say yes to someone around your friends sometimes. So I say go for it, whats the worst that could happen?

My dad beats my mom, what do i do?

Well, if your father beats your mother, I’d say the only thing you can do is tell the authorities, I’m not one to like the police, but if your mother is helpless and cannot fight back, that’s the only thing I can think of. Don’t try to get in between them though. You don’t need to be hurt.
